Alright so it's almost winter, and after a few months away from the dating scene, thought I'd pop my head back in and see what's going on out there...still not too sure about how I feel about the online dating world just yet but a few good buddies have had success on this site though so I'll keep my line in the water for now...

So about me...I'm an easy going, confident guy who is full of crazy traveling/party stories...I have lots of good friends, a great family, and a very active social life...I work out a few times a week and love hiking, tennis, camping and pretty much anything outdoors...you certainly don't have to go to the gym everyday but you shouldn't be happy to sit on the couch all weekend either (exceptions for snow/rain/hangovers, hehe)...I try and take care of myself but am also very likely to spend weekends drinking the nights away on a patio or in a pub...

I love the Canucks, UFC, road trips and going to gigs...music is a huge part of my life for sure, I listen to a bit of everything and I've seen literally hundreds of concerts from the biggest festivals to the tiniest punk rock dives and everything in between...bonus points if you like bands such as Bouncing Souls, Lucero, Social Distortion, Dropkick Murphys, Gaslight Anthem, Rancid, etc...I also love traveling and adventures, I've lived in London, England for 5 years and backpacked and road-tripped around Europe/Thailand/Canada/America having some crazy times with some crazy people...

What am I looking for? I don't really have a "type"...I do like 'unique' girls so tattoos, piercings, and crazy chicks are cool with me but that's not a requirement, hehe...ideally, you take care of yourself physically, are passionate about something, laugh a lot, love the outdoors and not be opposed to having a drink or many...also, unless we have tons of stuff in common, the closer you live to Vancouver the better...I've tried dating into the 'burbs before and it just doesn't work out most of the time...

I have an adorable and very energetic 5 year old son and I'm a really active dad so we're always doing fun things and going on cool adventures together...my ex and I get along great and we share custody so I happily have him half of the time...I take my responsibilities with him very seriously so anyone I would meet from here would have to be cool with me being a dad and everything that comes with that...I seem to automatically assume that most girls wouldn't be interested in a single dad if they don't have kids so I don't send many emails on this site...but with that said, if I sound interesting to you and you don't mind hanging with someone who's got a kid, you should definitely drop me a line!

Also, I'm not opposed to ending up in a relationship if the right situation comes along but I'm not desperate for one at all, I'm happy to be dating and meeting new people at this point in my life...and if you send me a message and I don't get back to you, please don't take offense, it's probably just that I don't see any possible chemistry between us...or our star signs aren't compatible or something like that, haha...likewise, I won't be offended if you don't get back to me either...we're all adults here ;)

Depends on our common interests but in the winter, I'm a big fan of a cold pint in a warm pub!
