Good grief, I think I add to this every week, someday, I hope to get it right... well, I am a very down to earth kind of guy. I would rather be out in the world exploring all it has to offer, preferably from astride my Harley, than sitting around on the couch watching TV. I like to work with my hands and craft things both functional and beautiful. I am open minded and love to experience new things, and go to new places. I dislike false fronts and want people to just be themselves with me. I listen to classical, Celtic and classic rock music and love movies with special effects, sometimes I think I like the special effects more than the movie... I have three great passions that I attend to every year, the renaissance festival in Larkspur, the Scottish/Irish festival in Estes Park, I even wear my kilt for that, and CHRISTMAS!! I love christmas because I volunteer for two Santas Cops programs, in fact, I run one and am the vice-president of the other, and I absolutely love giving toys to children who would otherwise would get nothing for christmas... I am a big, strong, tough, police officer who wears his heart on his sleeve and is an incurable romantic. I like to hold hands, give flowers for no reason, hug for every reason, and romance is alive and well in my heart. I would love to find a woman who is confident and smart (that, in my mind, is very attractive!), Who is kind, thoughtful, and passionate in all that she does and all that she is. A little bit old fashioned, but with a bold streak that is willing to try new things, go to new places, and taste life with all her senses! Funny... when you think about it, that is why we are here... looking someone to share these moments of life we are given. life is about jumping in with all your senses alive and tingling and living, really living this adventure, and it cannot get any better then when you are doing that with someone you love...

I would do my best to make our first date to be as comfortable as possible. I am very old fashioned believe in treating my date as the lady she is, so whatever we do, she will be treated with kindness, and respect and will receive my full attention from start to finish.
