hey everyone,
I'm a guy who finished college at Conestoga in Kitchener for architectural construction engineering technology about a year ago and am now working for an engineering firm in Barrie. Being away from home is definitely different since I lived in Kitchener all my life, but I needed something new. I'm enjoying the area alot more than I did when I first moved here, but its hard making friends if you don't go to the bars. I would like to meet more people around the area just to feel more at home, but I refuse to meet at bars or clubs, their just not my scene.

I like watching hockey when the colder months come, cause you know, I Am Canadian! I like going for walks, biking on forest trails, swimming, boating (motorized, man or wind powered) and going to the cottage in the summer is a must on my list! I also like cooking. A big thing in my life tho is designing custom houses either for fun, or for clients; its my passion.

I'd like to meet people who are down to earth and obviously are interesting, but they also need to share my interests and not be the kind of person who puts people down all the time. They need to know what they want to do with their lives and definitely have a good head on their shoulders.

Since its fall now, I'll be back in the barrie area alot more often than during the summer since my cottage is now closed for the winter.

P.S. women who enjoy a glass of wine here and there is a plus in my books

Ladies always whine and complain to their friends that there is never any good guys out there, and they always end up with ***holes who mistreat them. Well ladies next time you're complaining, maybe look up to see who you're talking to, maybe that special someone is right there hanging on your every word as usual, screaming in his head "Why won't you give me a chance?"
Because the person you are usually searching for is right by you.

For a first hangout, I would do pool, bowling, anything fun like that, maybe catch the hockey game at one of the local pubs.
