I'm a 29 year old Christian, who lives SE of Atlanta. I am a very laid back guy who is slow to anger and tries to take life in stride. If I had to live by a motto it would be, "Laughter is the hand of God on the shoulder of a troubled world" I love to make people smile and laugh. I am slow to come out of my shell around new people unless we just click and then It's hard to get my to shut up. I'm very much an optimist. I can usually find the good in a situation, even in the darkest of times.
I am a Deputy Sheriff and love my job. It's not all just driving fast and shooting guns (though that is a perk). I spend most my free time usually over at friends houses or here at home reading and playing around on the computer. I love to mess around in the kitchen and try new recipes. I also want to try and get my pilots license sometime in the near future. I love to go walking/jogging but it can be a bummer sometimes to do alone. I try to attend church when I can but right now my schedule kind of puts a damper on that.
I love all kinds of music except rap and really heavy metal. I played the trumpet for 13 years so I do have a taste for classical and jazz. I also like Bowling for Soup, Skillet, Red, Relient K and others. I am conservative in my political views and do enjoy discussing my views on local, national and world events. I'm orignally from Oklahoma so i'm a transplanted Sooners fan. It's hard to try and convince these SEC folks that the Big 12 is just as good (esp after that Florida game..ugh) I love college and pro football. I cheer on the Braves and Thrashers as well.

I like to play things by ear and i'm into more casual settings. Heck shooting hoops, going for a walk, or just sitting at a resturant and just talking for several hours would be great.
