First of all, I should tell you I have season tickets to the Clippers. (That should weed out a few matches!) I was going to start with that whole "this internet thing is awkward and new for me," but, while true, it's not too original.

So, about me...I enjoy finding the humor in things, which is why I dig a guy who can toss around a bit 'o the witty banter. (That is a very sexy quality in a man..hint hint wink wink nudge nudge.)

I wouldn't call myself an ambitious person because so often people equate ambition to money...I am a high school teacher. Enough said. I am, however, passionate about my career and my kids...all 160 of them. (Okay maybe not ALL of them.)

I love movies...indie flicks and classics are my favorites, but I must confess that my standards are not always that high! Traveling is another passion of mine. Chicago and San Francisco are two of my favorite US destinations. I traveled to Europe a few years ago and it was phenomenal. I don't care what people say about the French...everything about that country was amazing...the people...the food..the history. Ireland is next on my list...ah the motherland of my fair-skinned peeps and their perfection of the brew. I can't wait :)

As far as relationships go, I'm a bit independent and let's just say I'm a work-in-progress on that aspect. I think most realistic people are...works in progress. I can absolutely take care of myself, but I'm ready to find someone who wants to share something more than just a few dates. I don't believe that there is "the one" perfect match out there. Those odds are too lottery-like. I like to think that every relationship has potential as long as both people are looking for the same thing.

As for my other relationships, I have a tight-knit group of friends who are basically extentions of my family and I love spending much of my free time spoiling my nephews and niece...and myself.
