I'm sure this profile is way too much, but I like clarity and really I don't understand how you can decide you want to talk to someone strictly on their pictures. Ya know, I've found that most of these are outdated... Most of mine are timestamped, I think. Annnnyway, here goes:

I'm fun, some say I’m [[funny]], [[kind]], intelligent, off (but in the right way), extremely caring and open. I can't go a day without [[learning]] something and always try to do the right thing. I LOVE MUSIC! One of my favorite things to do is going to see [[live performances]] and the more intimate a setting the better. My musical tastes range is expansive. I like [[indie, Classic rock, Metal (mostly, all forms), Jazz - Traditional, Avant-garde, improvisational/experimental, Classical, World - from Polkas to Afrikaan to Caribbean to folk - Country AND Western, Blue grass, Electronica]] of most forms, you name it I probably like something in the category. I grew up with music and musician around all the time. I by no means would like to imply I am a musician... In my life I've attracted artist of all forms, but it's mostly, been the musical-types which have the strongest adhering power. =D

I'm glad to be back home in Chicago. Right now, I live in the city, work in the suburbs as an AV Project Manager and Tech. I'm learning how to play guitar, and trying to sing in front of others with more confidence. Trying to make time for the [[outdoors - kayaking, canoeing, & hiking]] when possible. I’m striving to be more [[creative]] and making time for it every day.

I'm supposedly an amazing [[cook]]. I don't know I know the stuff is edible and looks nice when I present it. I can [[cook]] Hispanic foods of most kinds, Caribbean, Asian, Italian - see music list, it's interchangeable with my food list. I make everything (now don't get sick) with loooove... I really do. It is one of my favorite ways to show my appreciation to my dear ones, both new and old.

I have extremely high standards of [[ethics]] and [[integrity]], which I try to live by everyday and although, I haven't always succeeded, I try to surround myself with the same type of people.

Other Things I like to do:

I'm going to take a sec to explain my religious view since many have asked or have assumed that I'm this or that. It's very simple:

I read that when I was about 8 or 9 and it explained all those conflicting practices of Judeo-Christian religions for me. It cleared things up. I also am big believer of science, obviously, but that doesn't mean I'm not "spiritual" for lack of a better term at this time. I am by no means Agnostic nor Atheist.

What I'm doing with my life:
at this moment is pondering: how to manage the footprint I'm leaving behind; how to be more fit; how to meet more quality people (I need new friends); reading lots and lots of reading and re-reading.

Deciding what I really want to accomplish at this point in my life and trying to find a new career that complements (adds to/completes) my values and priorities, y’know?

My fave books, movies, & food:
I revel in [[good books]]. I'm not one to want to talk about books and authors for the sake of talking about books and authors. I think most people do to impress and to me that’s just such BS. We should be able to tell what the other has read and has shaped us through natural [[discourse]], conversations, sharing of opinions, etc. Also, once we've had a chance to see each others bookshelves… =D

I enjoy [[great movies]], all genres. Every genre has a great director, huh? I guess my favorites are [[action flicks and slapstick comedies]]. I dunno I really dig them. I like all the artsy fartsy stuff too, don’t get me wrong. There I will say this there are very few chick flicks I really like, but I am tolerating them more as I’ve “matured”.

I elate in fantastic music - see summary.

I love food, all types (cooking and eating), except brussels sprouts and red radishes. I think they’re yucky.
