About Me
My offer to a meaningful relationship is an intelligent, articulate, down-to-earth, affectionate woman who is easy-going, laid back, enjoys good conversation, music, and relaxing at home with my special someone.
I'm looking for an intelligent, articulate, easy-going caucasian man between 50 & 65 years of age. This man must possess a great sense of humor and not take himself or life too seriously. He must be of good character without a criminal record, well-mannered, respectful and loyal. He must also be affectionate, a good conversationalist/listener, someone who knows how to treat (maybe sometimes pamper) a woman, someone who enjoys many varied interests, a romantic and someone who can make me laugh. I would like to get to know what makes him tick, start a friendship and see what develops from there.
I was born and raised in Winnipeg's North End and have recently returned to Winnipeg to be closer to my aging parents after living in Toronto ON and Nashville TN for many years. My north-end roots have influenced my outlook on life and helped adopt an ethical, compassionate and honest approach to my demeanor and my perception of reality.
At the risk of sounding snobbish (which I'm not) I am not attracted to the rough-tough biker type guys nor am I willing to go cruising on your Harley because they scare the hell out of me.
Your occupation or 'station' in life is not a concern to me. I do not differentiate between so-called 'white collar and blue-blue collar' (I really f**k**g hate these terms) employment. It's what you bring to the relationship that matters.
I have not dated outside of my race in the past and choose to continue this practice. I will respond only to those who have posted a photograph. I've posted some recent photos so it's only fair to expect the same in return.
I know I'm very specific and selective in the type of man that I'm comfortable with and this may eliminate many potential '1st date' scenarios but my comfort level is as important to me as I'm sure yours is to you. I ask that you not be judgemental when reading my profile.
I'm a shift-worker and my work hours are irregular and erractic within a 5 on - 4 off cycle so I may not always be able to respond to your mail on a timely basis - especially when I'm away at a location without internet availability.
