A new job has brought me back to the St. Louis area after being gone a long time. So I'm kind of starting over again. I'm seeking someone to rediscover the area with.

I also love to explore the outdoors hiking, camping and floating. Will you be my adventure companion?

Watching films is one of my great pleasures in life. Indy, maintream, documentary, classic--I'd like someone to enjoy all kinds with. Let's see one and discuss it over dinner!

There's nothing like the magic of music. It drives, inspires, touches the soul and mind. Pop, reggae, ska, blues, world, baroque, new age, celtic, folk, bluegrass, R&B....can you introduce me to more?

The stars have always fascinated me since I was a child. Maybe we could spend an evening laying out under the Milky Way. Count the stars. Dream about how to get to them. Wonder at what we'll find when we arrive!


Now, to elaborate on those broad-stroke check box categories:

“Does not want children” does NOT mean “I dislike children”. It simply means at this point in my life I do not wish to conceive any.

“Non-religious”: I’m an agnostic. I do fully support freedom of religion. I will respect your beliefs and hope you will return the favor.

“Dating”: Ultimately I’m seeking a meaningful, long-term relationship with the right person. But like walking comes before running, dating is what you do to see if an LTR will work. So dating comes first.

I would like to find someone who shares or is open to at least some of the interests above. Of course I am open to others as well. In my opinion relationships have a better chance where two people have some shared interests. Yes, there has to be physical attraction—that’s just human. But half the word girl/boyfriend is also FRIEND.

Body type-average: This one’s open for all kinds of subjective and “creative” interpretations. That’s why I have pictures.

Hair color-Black: OK, very dark brown really, but no check box!

Somewhere quiet, casual and low-key to talk over dinner. A shared experience like a film or concert is also nice.
