I am a smart, easy-going person who likes to laugh and who is also warm, passionate and loyal. I am well-read, successful, secure and grounded, and I like to learn and experience new things.

I can provide a laundry-list of hobbies and interests, but the bottom line is, I have been a happily divorced single mother for a long time. I chose to make raising my one child my top priority, building a good life for the two of us. She is almost ready to fly the coop and when she does, it will be with a good foundation and cheerleading from the homefront. Now I am working on the next phase of my life, and I realize it must include a successful relationship with a man. And despite being divorced, I can picture it based on my relationships with a handful of friends. It should include respect, honesty, love, and a willingness to listen to the other person and to be capable of compromise. Between a man and woman, of course, it should also include chemistry -- and not just based on looks. It can be the gleam in the eye, a certain energy or the way a smile can move you -- all very hard to capture through this virtual meeting place. So, back to the laundry-list. I'm looking for someone who is kind and loving and who takes care of himself both emotionally and physically and who is energetic, enthusistic and positive.
