Freediving is my passion. I go diving any chance I get and work on my skills as much as I can (up to 4:40 breath hold now! :))
I'm a scientist turned artist turned designer. I love the ocean and usually find myself trying out activities around it. I've been told I collect hobbies, but I just love experiencing new things. Lets see: Wakeboarding, kiteboarding, freediving, dragon boat racing, learning the cello, learning the shakuhachi, former taiko drummer, writing, painting, and a thousand other things.

I can be silly, I can be serious, I also have a knack for inappropriate jokes that get me in trouble.

I am always hunting for new experiences and new interests.

Music is very important to me. I was a Taiko performer for about 5 years, but sadly had to leave that part of my life behind. I am currently trying to learn 2 musical instruments...I know, a bit too ambitious(and much to the annoyance of my neighbors I am sure). Music affects me very deeply and I am always in the hunt for new experiences in that, and while they -tend- to fall within a few genres, I don't limit myself to those.

I want to meet someone that loves both silliness as much as meaningful, deep conversations that make you forget time and stay with you for days. Someone that wouldn't consider 'shopping' to be one of their funnest experiences. Someone that loses themselves to music. Someone that appreciates the beauty of the simplest things in life...and is still able to joke and laugh about it all.

Am I asking for too much? :)
