I've been on my own for quite a while and no longer want that. I'm hoping to meet someone who also wants to pair up "for keeps". I'm told I'm pretty funny & witty in person - laughter is important to me. I'm quite involved in horseracing and it would be ideal to have a partner who shares my love of it. I'm pretty much a homebody, affectionate,& independent. I'm fiercely loyal. I'm not likely to make first contact - that's your job. (That's just how I feel. I'm a romantic who enjoys being pursued a bit.)

For a first date, I usually like to meet for coffee, lunch or dinner. It gives us the opportunity to talk and a relatively fixed amount of time. We can usually get a feel for each other in that first hour or so.
