You might ask why a Damselfish: Many types of damselfish are brightly colored and active. I have been told that I am full of life and color by my friends. In my temperament, I would best be described as a peaceful princess damselfish.

Music is in my blood and I find it difficult to not move to the groove.

I dislike hearing about people who harm other people. I believe that nobody is perfect, likewise I try not to judge. I tend to see the good in others as a rule of thumb.

I believe that we are all on a personal journey, discovering both life and self. My values encompass a wide variety of belief systems and a respect for other cultures. Without ones individual uniqueness we would surely wither.

I would like to meet new people via chat, or in person, for friendship. I believe when the time is right our creator will guide me and a connection will happen...(P.B. I WILL MISS YOU DEARLY)I believe a higher power exists, that we are not all the same, so we cannot be in touch with this higher power through one belief system alone; we first need to embrace our own before we can learn another. I really dislike hearing that the way to the truth is through Gods eyes alone....God is everything and everything is God. Therefore we can practice faith with Christianity or Buddhism, or the native way, Islamic ect....It is important to be accepting of our unique differences in order to prosper :)

Most stimulating travel venture has been to Sri Lanka. I am not seeking a companion because I may have already found him. I do want to enter into a committed relationship, but not at this time and with the right person for me.I want to spend a couple years on my own. If this elegant man is the right person for me, he will still be available upon my return. I will try my best to journey back to B.C. sooner than the inital plan, love.

True Lovers Are Very Rare....I am waiting for the rare. I do not want a guy that is looking for sex, rather one who is looking for the real deal. Love is meant to be shared and I am trusting my heart as well as sticking to my cultural values. I believe it is important to sustain connections with my cultural roots. The guy for me will be able to understand me, or have a sense of where I am coming from. The two of us will be friends before lovers. Sex connects two people in body, mind, and spirit. I want my spiritual drive to remain active. Insofar as, I will not have sex for the sake of filling some hormonal sex drive. I must truly cared for someone.

First, I'd like to define what a date means to me; at this time, on this site :) "A set time and day to get together" Something full of grace and kindness; not hormones and testosterone. What we do does not matter as long as we are together having fun :)

On a first date some ideas: Jump'in mud puddles ;)

Perhaps we could go bootin'...I have not worn roller skates for some time.

Dancing? You could teach me some groovy dance moves, as long as you don't mind me stepping on your toes. No worries I get better with practice ;)

If you play an instrument we could have a ho down, I will then dance without stepping on your toes--YAY!

How about something spontaneous rather than planned?

A date--a good old fashioned tap dance or banjo recital with two friends. (JK) Unless this is your cup-of-tea, why not I'm game.
