I probably am like most men. I work hard but I find its worth it. If there is one difference that seperates me from most people on most dating sights is that I really understand how fragel life and love are. Loosing a life partner after 20+ years makes one realize what is and isn't important. Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world or even the state of my life I think of my family and friends. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatefulness and greed, but I don't think so. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often its not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but its always there. I can walk through a park, dowm Michigan ave, around The Cell or even Wrigley field. Look around. Fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends and girlfriends, even old friends. When my wife died, just before she died, friends and family came for all over just to be with her one last time. They didn't come to be with me, or to talk to her since she was in a coma and couldn't hear. They came one last time to tell her one last time, in person, how much they cared for her, how much they LOVED her. They all brought their own message of love. You see, if you look for it, love actually is all around. You just have to find it and make it work.

dinner, chat, Im open to most things but i have found most woman want to meet for java at a little resturant so if they dont like me they can get out quickly... However that seldem happens. Most first dates last about 2 hrs. one even lasted 5 months.
