I AM one of those rare nice guys who is tired of seeing nice women in bad relationships with those bad boy types they seem to never want, but always choose. But then...the same women never REALLY want the nice guy they claim to want either. About my opening statement...I'm just clearing the air about what I'm looking for and how I feel about internet dating these days. Women do this kind of thing all the time and if a man gets upset about it, those men are jerks. Women have no trouble at all putting down they WILL NOT be with a guy who is going bald, too much hair, not enough hair, must have a job, make 100K/year, a car, has only one thing on his mind, on & on & on, etc. Ladies, wouldn't you get upset if I put a list of things on here that I REQUIRED just to say hello?

Anyone who has been trying online dating has seen this many times and I think that the double standard with online dating is silly. I think a guy should be able to say what he likes or doesn't like with the same immunity as the women who say things like that as well...it is only fair. Does anyone remember fair?? I'm from the old school I guess. I believe in talking to someone first before meeting for a date of some type. You can learn a great deal about a person by hearing their voice and how they choose to talk and respond to you on the phone.

Before the internet became the big thing, it seemed to work pretty well. I also know there are many people out here in cyberspace that have only bad intentions, but if you thought that in your day to day existence, you'd never talk to anyone or even leave your house. So if that seems silly, then why not give more of a chance to those of us who ARE nice people. Those of us who just want to find someone who might enjoy my company as much as I would enjoy yours. Now after all that - here's the basic introduction...

I'm 6'1", long dark brown hair, blue eyed business owner/musician who is looking for someone special to capture my heart.
