Moved to the area at the start of June and would love to meet new folks in the area for lively conversation and social outings. Show me your favorite hidey holes, secret places and gems only the locals know, and you'll have me as an unabashed admirer. :)

I'm smiley and mischievous, gregarious yet shy, passionate and fiery, self-driven and creative, engagingly talkative, a wee bit of a nerd, animated, often times an oxymoron, and love asking the difficult questions -- which yes, sometimes gets me into trouble. I feel the most comfortable putting words to paper, contemplating life's injustices and beauties with friends, cooking up a storm, hiking through town or a new uncharted path, indulging myself with junk food for the brain, knitting something cozy, and losing myself in an amazing piece of music or non fiction (although I can occasionally be convinced to read fiction).

As for you? I'd love to meet you if you are passionate, independent, intelligent, and either creative, artistic or both. I also don't have any criteria when it comes to height, weight, gender, or other worldly possessions.

The things I truly, deeply enjoy are the things I want to share with others:

#1: Debating life, art, philosophy, music, writing and love.
#2: Going for a hike where the end result is lush greenery and a gorgeous expanse of water.
#3: Learning something new or seeing/doing something I've never experienced before.
#4: Sharing a laugh.
#5: Drinking tea and meditating/commiserating over the loose leaves unfurling as they steep.
#6: Having a group of people over for a bohemian, artistic home-cooked meal, made with ingredients I've tenderly and lovingly grown in my garden.
#7: Listening to soulful, funky, groovy music that either makes me want to move, sing, make love, talk or ... well.... just inspires me to do SOMETHING.
