YES!! Love is a choice. So many people here are trying to describe love as a feeling, by telling us how love makes them feel!! After asking many long time married couples (25+ years) what is the secret, it is that they make the decision to love their spouse every day!! The commitment made at the start of a marriage, is the commitment to make that decision each and every day.

I am here looking to find a life-long partner, friend and decision maker (to love me!) I am a very passionate person, that is completed by making a difference in someone’s life. My passion and energy are fueled by respect and admiration which I return 1000%. Doing what is expected is not enough. I want to go the extra mile and do the little things that show I care and you matter. I think giving you flowers on a special occasion is OK, but that is just the expectation. Giving you your favorite flower, and personally delivering it while taking you on a romantic picnic or stroll by the lake is the extra mile. Leaving a card for you on the bathroom sink or kitchen counter is expected…Making the card myself using photos and memorabilia and leaving it in your car at work for you to find after a long day is the extra mile! My love language is definitely not words for affirmation, but physical touch and genuine reactions of love, admiration, respect and appreciation. I want a supporter and I want to BE a supporter. I want to be the one that tells you “It doesn’t matter how big a mistake you made…..it matters that you are OK and vice-versa.

Just adding some extra info here……
I have 13 and 12 year old boys that live in Allen and a 2 year old girl that lives in Garland. I am still very active in their lives and will be forever. I see them as often as I can, but make time for myself as well. If you have already raised your kids and they are out on their own, then you may not want to get involved with little ones again and I completely understand that. I just thought I would put that in up front.
I am seeing that many of you are old fashion and will not email the gentleman first, but during the courting days, it was acceptable to wink to show interest. Showing interest is OK….and you are right, after showing interest……the Gentlemen will come a callin’
