What is it I am looking for? To be honest (and we all really should be even though it's just over a computer screen) I am looking for what I once had and didn't realize I had it till it was gone. Someone who misses me when I'm gone, someone who can't wait till I get home, someone who accepts me for who I am, someone that makes me feel like I'm the only one in the world for her.

If you are out there, please understand I do not want to rush into anything, but I think we both will feel it when it happens. I'm not a romantic by choice, but rather by experience. Life has forced me to see the world for what it is, and women for what they are. But if I can find the one woman out there who I please, and she pleases me, then the rest is cake. This site is way full of single ladies looking for "a good hearted man" and begging the question "where have all the good men gone?" Well ladies open your eyes and look for principle before polish, give everyone who writes you a kind, simple note a chance, and overlook no one. If the man is the typical internet player you all claim to meet over and over, you will figure that out fairly fast. But don't ignore someone based on a silly date site profile or a picture. Those tell you nothing about the person behind the screen. I agree there needs to be a physical attraction to seal the deal, and if it isn't there for me I'll be upfront and honest, but I will always have room for a friend.

Life can be good. It is what you make of it. I truly believe two can make it much better much easier than one.

How about we figure this out together? If we can't work together on the first date, not much chance we will ever in the future.
