I left Michigan to find my place in the world and realized I only missed my backyard. So i made a home Hoboken where the green balances the grey, and now I have BBQs and parties, and my own garden. Please mind the stringbeans when you're heading to the beerpong table.

"The person I really am" - I'm always there in the action, working to make things better, but don't mind if I'm not always directly in the limelight. I like working hard, and devoting myself to something, and don't mind so much if someone else is on stage.

"How the world sees me" - I'm hoping people are surprised by my honesty and excitement for New York. I hope they find my optimism and drive to be somewhat refreshing.

"Who I'd like to be" - I want to be part of the greatest love story ever. I want people to envy the happiness I have in a relationship. I want them to retell how we met to their friends so their friends can be charmed as well.

"On the lookout for" - An honest, kind-hearted girl with unbridled passion for life, who she is and what she does. A sense of adventure. An avid traveler. A secret affinity for terrible movies. A creative thinker who wants to share an exciting city. A confident, polite, driven girl who will be just as much my best friend as a partner in life.

I'm a believer in communication.
I think the largest slice of the world's problems stem from our inabilities to communicate what we think and how we feel. The second largest is money and greed.

I don't think it's my place to judge others, and I'm only getting better at following this rule.

Relationships can get people hurt, but that's the worst reason in the world to be scared of them. Relationships will take the comfort of a world you know and where you feel safe, and overlap another's world like paints on a palette or essences in a perfume. The scary part is knowing that you will never come out the same as you went in. But that's also what makes us unique, richer -- afterall, what are we if not the product of our own experiences and decisions.

I want the absolute PERFECT match and i will not settle for anything less than her. And neither should she. But she's not who a magazine tells me she is. And she's not who i think either. She's somebody that will make it difficult to speak, breathe, live without.
