I'm a graphic artist in a unique career which requires a lot of traveling and on-site work. I am known for my sense of humor, creativity, and ability to try and see and make the best out of most situations. Locally, I enjoy good food and restaurants, seeing new sites, and exercising and sports. As a hobby I play guitar, bike, sketch (okay, I do that for work too, but I LOVE what I do) read, and I am an avid filmgoer. If you like laid back gentlemen with a good sense of humor, I'm your man. I like listening to music and seeing bands play live (with real instruments, not DATs and Autotune software). I like neo soul acts like Jill Scott and Maxwell, and old school R&B -- I wore out my casette (I'm dating myself LOL) of EWF's "Shining Star" because I taught myself guitar on it. I also really love jazz (and visiting the Jazz Bakery here in Culver City), my favorite is album might be Miles Davis' "Kind of Blue" or "Sketches of Spain." I also like classic rock, and classical. I enjoy traveling and it is a passion of mine. I've been to 5 continents and more countries than Sarah Palin (LOL that's not saying much though) and though it wasn't from my house, I actually did see Russia -- from Finland though. :)

I tend to like to go some place casual, but where we can have a nice conversation and get to know each other. I think it's essential that two people hit it off early so going someplace with a cool and good atmosphere for conversation and fun is important (cafes, low key places for drinks or light fair). Being able to be easy going and comfortable with laughter and talking and LISTENING is key on a first date in my opinion. Personality-wise, I dig women that are comfortable in their own skin and I'm not afraid of confident women (I grew up with four older sisters) who expect men to be MEN in a relationship and not boys. Physically, I suppose I like women that respect their bodies the way I do (keep it healthy - no smoking, no gluttony, etc.)
