Reasonably attractive, easy-going, intelligent guy, divorced, with one 10-yr old daughter (at home part-time) seeking a fit, low-drama, fun, clever woman. I like hiking, camping, listening to and playing music, doing yoga. I like working out and riding my bike, but am not into watching sports at all (I would rather have the flu than watch a ball game live or on tv). Not into NASCAR at all. Don't watch any regular tv, but like watching movies (esp. documentaries). Love, love, love going to the farmer's market. Like spicy food and especially like cooking and eating Thai, Indian, and Japanese food. Mostly vegetarian, but not militant. Am good at giving and receiving massage. I'm a dog person (if possible, plan to reincarnate as a Chocolate Lab next time).
I'm an atheist, but I would say somewhat spiritual and religious! Figure that!! I'm a hybrid Buddhist/Pagan/Unitarian Universalist and very active in my local UU church. You don't have to have the same religious identity, but I'm thinkin' most Christians wouldn't be satisfied with my philosophy. Looking for someone who can connect spiritually and who can think deeply without taking their self too seriously.

Not very materialistic. I'm politically way, way to the left. Enjoy getting involved in social justice issues. I like most music other than country (Neil Young, Phish, Niyaz, Rage against the Machine, Michael Franti, Jazz, World, Asian electronica, bhajans). I'm not shy and not afraid to do quirky things. For example: on my last birthday, I invited my friends over to superglue 1,000 little fake gems all over my car.
Favorite authors: Ursula LeGuin, Charles De Lint, David Sedaris, Kurt Vonnegut, and Tom Robbins. I read a lot, but mostly non-fiction...have over 1,200 books at my house including 80 cookbooks!
Favorite movies: Little Miss Sunshine, The Last Mimsy, The Big Fish, and Harold and Maude.
More: I'm a morning person. I value clear communication. I'm never mean, even during the worst conflicts. I have never cheated on a partner. I honk at cows. I think that "rest stops" should be renamed "dance stops" because moving around helps get the circulation back after sitting a long time in the car.
You: Are a non- or light-drinker. Curious about the world. Have a good sense of humor. Like the outdoors. Don't limit your music to country. Have no restraining orders. Are not into drama. Would rather make the world a better place than accumulate a lot of things.
Up for various things for a first date. I like to hike. I like to cook/eat. Something interactive, so going to a movie seems a bit boring at first. Chatting over coffee is fine. Would like to cook food together on a later date.
