Ever go out with friends, say to the bar and meet some of the single people out there and leave thinking to yourself "thats the best there is???" Granted, the bar is a bad place to look for a date, but this has happened to me at several different types of places. Perhaps we're picky, perhaps you and I are the only ones left that still expect more than a party animal that takes little to no responsabilty for their life. Who knows, but I am glad we found each other.

About me. I'm 31, 5'10 about 200 pounds. I am a low voltage electrican. I like all kinds of music, but I do not consider rap music. I mainly listen to country or classic rock. I like all types of movies, including the romance ones. I've even been cought crying a time or two at a tear jerker. I've never been much of a partier and thus you won't find me at the bar except once or twice a year with friends. I do like to get out, but much prefer a movie, dinner, a walk, a drive or something that stimulates the mind.

About you.. You might not get out much, you probably perfer a good book to a night at the bar. Your more comfortable with a small group of friends than a large group of people you don't know just like I do. You have goals in life, and are working to achive them. You want a family, maybe not right now but in the future. Perhaps you even want to be a stay at home mom, or already have children.

There's always the old dinner and a movie. But I much prefer to stay away from movies on the first date. I want to get to know the person I am with. I'm thinking a stroll through a musium or a nature preserve with lots of time to chat and get to know each other would be fun.
