Just moved back home to North Alabama after spending the last several years down on the gulf cost. Came back to help take care of a family member so obviously this means I do not have that much spare time so I am really just trying to reconnect to the area. However I am very happy and thankful to be back home. I will be debt free soon and have a very good job so I hope to finally put down roots here. As I have got a little older and been away for so long I have realized how important my extended family is and love to spend time with my many nieces and nephews who range from 22 to 12.

When I do get free time I love kayaking, camping, sec football (which is some of the only TV that I watch outside of some news and Law and Order) I am always reading at least one book, usually a couple with a wide range of interest. Also love to travel and hope to head back out west soon. Still enjoy to go out and hear live music when I get the chance and like everything from Texas Country like Ryan Bingham and the Gourds to rock like the Drive By Truckers to blue grass to The Pouges.

Go out for a nice meal (this means somewhere other than Burger King or any kind of fast food) and either a movie or to hear a band then somewhere to grab a drink/cup of coffee at a noise level where you can actually talk.
