Many thanks for checking out my profile...Here's the skinny:

I'm a well adjusted, centered, laid back guy. I hate drama and will avoid it at any cost. It might make things seem exciting for a fleeting moment, but then there is always a mess to clean up afterwards...so, what's the point. I'm educated, fairly well traveled, polite (yes, I'll even open the car door for you first, before I get in), optimistic, motivated to make something out of my life, generous, patient and loyal.
I'm tall, thin and am often told that I look young for my age. I have a conservative number of tattoos (at least by today's standards.)
I'm a musician. That is my passion and driving force in my life. However, I do have a day job that I love. I build guitars at a high end custom shop. Point is: I'm happy. BUT, I would really like to meet someone, with whom I can spend some time and have a few laughs. I am more than open to the possibility that more may (and hopefully will) come of it- but that is something that can't be predicted.
I don't think I have a 'type,' but here are some basics to narrow things down a little. Anyone, with whom I get involved needs to be secure and independent. No clingy types, please. Being artistic is a must...or at least creative. Someone who loves animals, the outdoors and nature, in general. Someone who is happy with their life and wants to take that happiness a little further. REALLY IMPORTANT, HERE: I can't be with someone who is mentally unstable. I've done it too much before and it is just heart-wrenching. If you need meds to be happy, or just stable...it's a deal breaker.
Physically, since I'm a slender guy, I prefer that same body type in women. A great pair of legs doesn't hurt, either!:) I'm also attracted to women who like being and looking like women, it's fine to have tom-boy tendencies and t-shirt and jeans days...but don't underestimate the power of a skirt and pair of high heels. Otherwise, I don't have a lot of hang-ups with physical appearance. So long as the chemistry is there, that's all that matters.

I like to keep it simple on the first date. Not because I'm cheap- I always insist on paying, where ever it may be. But there is a lot of pressure and stress on a first date. Keeping it lightweight, for me, ensures each person is comfortable. A nice quiet neighborhood tavern, a charming little bistro, a jazz club, a picnic on the beach, or just talking over coffee at starbucks. Depends on the person in question.
