Hello there everyone, welcome to my profile. Well a bit about me. My name is Abbie, I am 23, born in London and lived here most of my life bar a few different occasions lol. Due to currently being pregnant, baby is due in May 2010, I am only looking to make some friends as I believe you can't have too many so I'm mainly looking for friends really. Sounds corny I bet, but hey, I am one for honesty and this is just the way it is for me.
I am not looking for a replacement father or something to raise my child, the baby already has two parents, it's just unfortunate that my relationship with the father broke down. It happens. So friends it is.
I'm still me, I don't carry the plague and even despite being pregnant and having some people refusing to talk to me again once they know, I make a great friend. I come with references lol!

I have made some very good friends courtesy of POF already and I like to think that I can hopefully make some more. My testimonials at the bottom of the page give an insight into the type of person I am and you'd better believe it, I am not oozing with confidence very often about myself but one thing I do pride myself on is my ability to be a good friend. I do like to be there for my friends and make them feel at ease, so if all YOU are looking for is a friend or just someone to talk to then please do feel free to message me. I am hoping 2010 opens up lots of opportunities to meet new people as that has now become my thing. I'm young(for now lol) and even with having a baby on the way, it doesn't stop me from wanting to meet new friends and being a responsible parent. I've done the whole drinking and getting as drunk as possible kind of thing.



I like...bowling, watching movies, listening to music, having nights out with friends, coming online to browse around and do whatever and of course, I cannot forget the untimely classic....SHOPPING!

I dislike...snakes, war films (I know its part of history but life can be depressing enough), arrogant, self righteous, small sminded people. Everyone is different and people who seem to want to label others in a superficial manner, it downright annoys me. People who don't have the decency or backbone to just be honest about how they felt about things on the date. Guys, I may be a girl but I can take it if you say you had a nice time but things didn't go 100% the way you wanted. So just come out and be honest and say how you feel. Nothing gets on a girls nerves more or confuses her when you say you had a good time and then proceed to blank her!! Just be honest!!

I guess the main ambition I have at the moment is to be the greatest mother to my child that I can be.

I would like to meet someone funny, chatty, kind, caring and cute. I am not Kate Moss or Naomi Campbell,I am a bigger girl but I am still me and have other qualities that are equally just as attractive as being stick thin.As I'm looking for friends, I doubt these things matter, but on the relationship side of things, obviously I understand there needs to be some kind of physical attraction but really, I am bored of offensive people who think I don't look in the mirror. I don't need to be told that I am not stick thin, I can see that fine for myself, if you were to turn away from me and hold a conversation, you'd realise that I have a very good sense of humour, if you're a friend, you are as good as my family, I am very caring. I would like to meet someone who is spontaneous, affectionate and just a bundle of fun. Someone who likes children and animals too.
