Recently widowed and trying to get back into life. Lived in South Florida 34 years and moved to Marion County near the Villages 8 years ago. I am retired and live in the Del Webb community in Summerfield. I like to go to the Town Squares and listen to the music and; yes, I dance too but not ballroom; rock & roll is my style.

I am looking for a pleasant woman, between the ages of 55-66 who is retired and would like to enjoy social activities, watching DVD's, dancing, travel and, perhaps, a relationship over time. Golf would be a plus. I also like to try new activities.

I travel to NC twice a year where I have a timeshare cabin in the Blue Ridge mountains. Unlike most, I am not a beach person but like driving along the ocean or looking at it from a hotel patio. Enjoy mountains, wooded areas, lakes and streams. I take frequent trips out of town and take ocean cruises. I take my golf clubs whenever I travel. It would be fun to share a a short trip or cruise.

My latest idea is to escape the heat during the summer months by traveling to a northern or a western state (VT,ME,CO,UT) and staying for a month or so. My trip this summer was to VA,CT,NY,ME and VT. It was a month long car trip visiting family and friends. I also found some reasonable rentals in VT near golf courses which may be a possibilty for next year. Logan, UT may present an interesting choice for next year as well.
