I have decided to step away from the on-line dating for a little while. It is simply a matter of timing, or lack of time to be more precise. I will probably be back on-line in 2010.

I have been on a few dates, met some very interesting and nice people, but unfortunately something missing.

What I am looking for:

I 'want to want' to spend time with someone special.
A quick smart sense of humour.
Someone who is up to date on world affairs.
Intelligent and provides an opinion on things.
Open-minded and fair.
Takes good care of himself.

About me:

I am a positive person.
Aware of the world I live in.
Very caring (perhaps to a fault).
Interested in many things.
I love nature, hiking, camping, snowshoeing, swimming in waterfalls as well as many other outdoor activities.
I am not high maintenance, but I clean up very nicely.
I love animals (have a few... but I have 'yet' to become the crazy cat lady... that is why I am here looking for a partner) it would be best if you do not have pet allergies.
I rarely watch prime-time TV, or play computer/ console games, there are just way too many other things I value spending my time on; all this to say if that is a big part of your life, I may not be a good match.
I am ready to be in a relationship, but I also know what I want and I am in no rush... I will wait to find that special one!
