"Who am I today?" I ask..
And I wonder if I even know.
I know the past has shaped me now,
Even though the past was long ago.

The little moments form a blur,
The times both happy and sad,
All the people I once knew,
And the things I used to have.

They all helped me to become
Where, what and who I am now,
Because everything has influenced me,
I'm not sure exactly how.

But I'm thankful for the memories,
Even of the people I've never really met,
For the people I miss, the people I love,
And even the people I'd like to forget.
For these memories have helped me grow,
They've made me calm, yet strong,
And now there's a story to my life,
That they've been writing all along.
So, thank you for the memories.
Without them, I don't know who I'd be -
Because somewhere among these memories
Are the things that define me.



Who am I ... the question of the century or for me at least the last few years ...

To describe myself I would have to say that I'm first the mother of 4 children, 2 teenagers that live with me. I'm an eternal optimist and incurable romantic, intelligent and a good conversationalist.

I'm a good listener, very compassionate and empathetic, honest and believe that the key to any relationship in life is build on a strong foundation of friendship, trust and open communication.

I believe with my whole heart that for me, the best is yet to come. I am searching for that one great love, but while searching living a very full and happy life.

I have a very good career, and two teens who can keep me on my toes. I am not looking for a father image for them, as they have a father, nor a person who just tolerates them. They are a continuation of who I am and they are a big part of the whole equation.

I am presently working with a personal trainer in women in weights strength training and work out 5 times a week and I am now taking belly dancing. I like to be busy . I have more energy than most people and can be busy walking, playing with my dogs or cooking a great meal.

When I go out I love to hear great blues or rock and roll, go to the theatre, a quiet dinner for two, or a long walk ( but not in this crazy cold weather).

What else, I have a good sense of humor, some would say off the wall ... but I love to laugh and can laugh at myself...

So when you wish upon a star for that one great love ...... the truth is if we do not take a chance we will never know and I'm ready to take a chance, are you?

I am not into heart games, been there, done that, don't want the t-shirt! Will relocate for the right person.

Here's what I am looking for:

taller than 5'2" ...

Close to my age (give or take)
Average build, you don't have to be a body builder, but fit would be nice

You have all your own hair...but then again...bald can be beautiful!

Intelligence is a must (and a turn-on)

Successful...you love your career, but still have time to have fun with me (wink)

You are not afraid of children (and hopefully, they are not afraid of you either!)

Someone who is honest and knows what he wants enough to take the chance to go for it.

In my spare time I enjoy: listening to music, writing poetry, gardening
