Giving this thing one more try!

Before I get to me, here is what I am ultimately looking for....

I'm looking for someone to have a relationship with, someone that will be my best friend, someone that actively wants to be a part of my life, and someone who wants me to actively be a part of theirs. I want to know what makes you tick, what makes you who you are, what makes you so damn interesting that I can't get you out of my mind. I want someone who is active physically, and isn't afraid of getting their hands dirty. That's what I'm looking for.

Will I find any of that on here? I did once....maybe it can happen again? I would like to look for long term, but dating and friends are ok too.

About Me:
I'm a 28 year old guy who graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelors in Computer Science, on here to see what's out there. I get emails all the time on here asking why I'm using this site....when you aren't into the bar scene in a college town, is there really that many places to go and meet people? Not that I've found. I'm not really a drinker myself, a few shots here and there at Coco Joes (local dueling piano bar), and I'm trying to get into wine drinking, but that's about it. You won't see me drink to get drunk, and beer is out ;)

People think I'm too shy, and I'll agree with that at first (though I'm really trying to change that), but once I warm up to you the shyness goes completely out the window. I love to watch sports (mostly football and basketball.....Go Pistons!), but I'm not a jock. I love working out, but I'm not a muscle head. I really love going on vacation, especially up north in the Mackinaw area, I simply love it there. Also love going to Vegas, been there a few times, not to gamble, simply to see all that the city has to offer. I would really love to do a trek around Europe, I think that would be pretty exciting. I'm also a movie buff, got lots of DVDs and a great home theater setup, and I try to hit the theater at least once, sometimes twice a month. I really enjoy just cuddling up on the couch and watching a movie at home though....does that make me lame? Yeah, probably. I Love Lucy and Seinfeld are my all-time favorite TV shows (at least comedy wise), so if you're familiar with those shows, then you know my sense of humor. I love skiing but I hate the snow, go figure. I love biking, I love thunderstorms, the power behind them is awesome. My taste in music is mainly Rock music (from the 50's to the present), but I do like the sounds of Classical as well. I've just started getting into buying vinyl albums, and I think I'm really digging it.

I'm a romantic at heart, I love doing romantic things for my significant other. Little text messages, a weekend getaway, little presents just because. I'm trying to get into drinking wine....but, let's face it, I don't have a clue what a good wine is, they all seem to taste the same to me. If you know what you're doing in this realm, extra points for you ;)
