I have considered deleting my POF profile here for some time, but thought I would put a better effort into my profile description as to eliminate any first-date misconceptions. Sorry for the “PointForm” structure below, I may have picked that up from work!

Dating-LongTerm: I have selected the dating option for the simple reason of “starting somewhere”. I was married for close to 20yrs and since the tender age of 5yrs old have been an avid Toronto Maple Leaf fan. So……I am not seeing any LongTerm commitment issues here!

Kids-n-MoreKids: I like kids, I was once one myself and to this day have been considered by many as “still a kid”. I look forward to the day one of my daughters informs me that I am going to be a Grandfather. So…….at this point in my life, the kids are moved on, I did my part for society to bring up law-abiding, tax paying children that only future decision directed at me, will be “when to commit me to a home”

GeoTarget: or better yet “Geographically Challenged” that describes where I live so I am 1hr from civilization in all directions, more specifically a good 1hr north-east of Toronto or 40 minutes north of Oshawa, You get the picture. I do not mind “doing the driving”

BodyType: I have selected ‘athletic” unfortunately this involves some self examination and a little trust on your part. So the issue here is I am a tall person whom weighs 215lbs, mathematically correct height/weight ratio determined by someone in a lab coat. So……you could say “athletic for a linebacker” I keep active winter-summer and in the words of my mother was “hatched” not “born”. So short of visiting DrPhil I will be hard pressed to get any “lighter”.

WineList: okay this maybe a deal-breaker but if needs to be discussed, if we happen to go out for dinner and the “WineList” booklet is there sitting in front of me, My suggestion to you is to grab it and order what you like, don’t leave it up to me. I got drunk on “BabyDuck” as a kid so I a pretty much useless at this point in the evening.
Don’t get me wrong, if you like wine I will buy it for you by the gallon, see my point……..

Travel: I would like to travel………………there I said it. Yep I have seen a fair bit of the USA and a tiny bit of Canada and well Europe zip. So I do plan to change this part of my lifestyle soon.

Clothing: I bet you never thought you would see this heading on a dating site, I am most comfortable in shorts-sandals and if you insist I will remove my socks from my sandals. Don’t get me wrong I can cleanup for those formal events and even own a suit but I usually end up looking like a “HitMan”. When I wear my sunglasses with my suit you can walk close behind me and act like “Britney”

FriendZone: Yep….. that’s me, after the first-date I seem to end up on everyone’s Christmas Card List. So this is not to say we cannot be friends before-during-after, it just means that I am looking for a second-date. So if I want more friends I will travel into Toronto and buy them like everyone else.

Summary: if you are happy-healthy-and-available, who knows we may be an “item”

FirstDate: public place is good, we could even meet at a Police Station if you would feel more comfortable. If we meet and you fined me “physically repulsive” you can jump up on the table and announce your displeasure to the surrounding patrons, no hard feelings, and I wish you the best in finding your mate.
