About Me
I'm a Senior Art student who loves life, good friends, challenges, puzzles, good food, and doesn't know the meaning of laziness or procrastination. I love to read (mostly fiction) I love to be outdoors, to cook & bake, animals of any kind, kids, interesting and well-done movies, having long, respectful, intelligent conversations, and to take pictures of anything and everything. I am open-minded, responsible caring, and I seek to be around people who are the same.I want to travel the world, and I strive to learn and do something new and exciting every day.
I love music - it's a huge part of my life - I honestly can't work without it. My tastes are pretty eclectic, but tend to sway towards mellow oldies. My top three bands are The Eagles, Matchbox 20, and Maroon 5. My top singers are Marvin Gaye, Jason Mraz, Aretha Franklin, and Rob Thomas. I also really enjoy Journey, The Beatles, The Blues Travelers, and so many others.
So, more randomness - I'm pretty serious about school and my work, but when it's just hangin and chillin, I can get pretty silly, because I'm so serious most of the time. I love trying (eating and making) new foods, going to museums and plays and things of that nature, and just in general being around people that enjoy life. I also love kids - my heart just goes gooey around babies. And puppies. And chocolate :-)
I don't like mint ice cream, being cold, or people who act stupid to fit in with a certain click or group. I want to be around people who mellow me out, and help me appreciate life, and who really care about how I feel and what I think. My nickname at school is 'Sissy' because I'm everyone's big sister - I take care of everyone, whether they need a cup of coffee or something to eat at midnight, or just a hug, I'm there.
A lot of people under-estimate me, but what can it hurt to give me a chance? You may be surprised. ;-)
I gotta say, it makes me sad when people restrict who can talk to them based on how far away they live - it starts with messaging, which is location neutral. Why not give someone a chance, even if they do live two hours away? All I'm sayin is, there are some wonderful ladies on here I would LOVE to talk to but can't. *hinthinthint*
First Date
A first date? I'd want to go somewhere semi-quiet, so we can talk. A small cafe with a live band would be cool, or just a cozy coffee shop. Somewhere where we can learn about each-other. If all goes well, we can move on to dinner somewhere else. Personally, I love Italian, but I'm really up for anything. Then we could go for a walk, in a local park or through downtown. To me, the first date is all about conversation.
