Hello, I am all grown up and I am serious about having a relationship with a man. I have strawberry blond hair, large blue eyes I'm 5'8" I have been working out at the "Y" and I'm looking forward to being a healthier weight again sooner rather than later.
I don't do drugs or smoke, I'm a very light/non drinker(a nice wine buzz can be pleasant)
I like to be busy ---- something is always happening when you're around me :)...a Day at Harrison Festival, Bard on the Beach BBQ & fireworks, out dancing to live bands with friends,taking a new class-airbrushing,Spanish,Belly dancing(I am a work in progress) working in my garden or around my home. Currently working on a part for a local production opening in Dec, first timer on stage, lol
I Love my community...I volunteer with Meals on wheels, Pitch-In and I always support "Party in the Park" and actively attend the Arts Centre productions. I have a part in Alice in Wonderland that is coming up. Rarely watch TV isn't there better ways to spent our time? I like movies and I go regularly to the Tuesday movies @ the Paramount and weekend matinées often.
No one has ever excused me of being a high maintenance woman. Kinda comb my hair and go gal but I do know how to dress up when it's called for. I hike on Teapot Hill and ride my bike on the Vedder River dike & around town. Spend many hours each week reading. Some books just can't be put down.
To the amazment of many friends I can be miles from home and hear "HEY, Hi Girl" from someone I know. Always nice to run into friends. I have lived in Kits, East Van, & in Chilliwack(16+yrs) but I am originally from back east (aren't we all).
I would like to meet someone that is interested in building a relationship, spending time together within each of our busy schedules to do things we both like or teach me something that you like. I especially love to travel :)
I enjoy cooking many types of food from Korean BB Q's, soups, Chinese, Vietnamese, Indian dishes and the staples....meat& potato fare.
When the kids were little there was always baking around the house too...Cinnamon buns, cookies, pies, fresh bread etc. Something I would enjoy doing again if there was someone to eat them. My ex once told me he would have left sooner but the food and sex was so damn good LOL.
I haven't had a chance to cook much lately it's not so much fun cooking for one each night so I keep it simple unless friends are coming over. Had a turkey dinner for ten and New York steak & salad dinner party for 5 in the last few weeks. Tonight there was an orange... a good one though LOL
My friends laugh at my jokes which has led me to believe I have some kind of sense of humor since I've no money too buy their love.
Life is short, enjoy as much as possible. So often we cause ourselves pain not by what we do but by what we fail to do. So live,love and laugh each day, be kind to others.
