I'm smart, funny, and focused. I'm also fun-loving, friendly and, dare I say, down-to-earth. If I had to choose three of those qualities in a woman, they would probably smart, fun-loving, and down-to-earth (not necessarily in that order). I believe everybody's friendly if you get to know them a bit, and my ideal woman is equally comfortable chatting with the janitor or maid as with the boss or president (that one falls under "down-to-earth").

I honor, appreciate, and savor affection. I do enjoy the finer things in life and appreciate the simple ones too--like cuddling on the couch or just grocery-shopping with a wonderful woman--as well as stimulating conversation on widespread topics ranging from the soft to the cerebral. I'm very focused in my work and am career-driven, but I love to laugh daily (and often! and at myself!) and I have a keen sense of humor.

Humor is one of life's most potent tonics and I consume it daily. I'm no perfectionist, but I am particular on things that matter to me, as well as being flexible and open-minded.

I am work in progress. I live to learn and learn to live--in so many ways. Life's a trip and I want to take that trip--in all its splendor and all its pain--and become a better traveler (and travel companion--wink). Traveling is fun! I believe we can grow immensely by being open to new ideas, viewpoints and perspectives. Experience doesn't have to be our only guide. I wish to learn from you as I would hope you learn from me--and to grow together.

My ideal partner is likewise fun-loving and down-to-earth, knows what she likes, and is flexible in matters of the heart and mind. She finds affection and closeness to be intoxicating and sustaining. I am a gentleman, very affectionate, and I enjoy making a woman feel like she is the only person in the room besides me. I pull chairs and open doors (right this way, Miss!). I am fiercely loyal, and I want to share my loyalty with someone who is likewise loyal and true. No player here, though I love to play games–everything from Scrabble and trivia to pool, darts, racquet games, bowling, golf–you name, I'll play it!

I want to find a friend, above all, with whom it's perfectly natural and so very comfortable to enjoy my time--whether it's whittling the hours away in lively, engaging, and effortless conversation or enjoying equally comfortable moments of quiet, yet connected, togetherness. Friends first--and then, perhaps, lovers and partners at last!

I would love to meet you for a drink and see "it" just light up for both of us during a flirty, laughter-filled conversation about nothing and everything . . . then fly to Vegas and marry you--or maybe just invite you out for another great date! :)
