I am funny, quirky, happy, curious, warm and very down-to-earth. I don't really like having my photo taken because my personality doesn't come across on here. I'm not looking for several guys to date - just one good one! I do have children on a part-time basis (every alternate week) so life is a bit tricky at the moment. I know when I meet the right guy things will work themselves out. I'm definitely not looking for a new husband or father.

I would like to find someone who isn't afraid to be open and honest with me. He doesn't have to look like Brad, George or Tom - as long as I find him attractive and vice versa. I'm looking for a companion/partner whose company I enjoy and the more we have in common the better. Someone who is looking for a "real" woman not some ideal they have in their head..............lol. Looking for a guy who is down-to-earth enough to understand what being 40 plus means.

My likes include different types of cuisine, arthouse & foreign movies, travelling to new places, reading a good book. Exercise is important to me but I'm certainly not obsessive about it. You should probably know that I don't eat junk food and I'm not a big drinker. My biggest weakness is a good Indian curry.........mine are pretty good!

I would love to eventually end up in a long term relationship but for now I'm happy to start out as friends and see where it leads. I am the type of person that likes my space so it's important that you have your own life as well.
