I've spent the last two plus years acting as a tour guide for adults with special needs. Getting to see so many different places around North America has been a wonderful experience. Also, knowing that I am providing an opportunity for these individuals that they otherwise would not have is very rewarding. This particular phase of my life is now in the process of coming to an end and I am looking forward to beginning a new one that allows me some more free time to pursue a relationship.

As much fun as my recent travels have been, I have come to the conclusion that life is more enjoyable if you have someone who wishes to share in its adventures. This goes for travel to watching a movie on the couch, and everything in between.

I am honest to fault. I take a lot of pride in everything I do, especially my job. I am very laid back. Life is to short to sweat the small stuff. I do not lack self confidence. I try to make the most out of every day by doing something that I enjoy. Most of the time this means getting outside, getting some sun, being social.

I have created a long list of my hobbies and interests in hopes that I find someone with whom I have something in common. Someone who is also looking for their next adventure. Someone who can teach me because I am always trying to learn more about the world around me and improve myself. Someone who knows what they want out of life. Someone who takes pride in who they are and what they do but also knows how to have a good time.

Although I am seeking a long term, meaningful relationship, that is something that cannot be forced. I believe in becoming friends first. If a relationship is meant to be more than that, it will evolve naturally out of a developing sense of trust and mutual attraction.
