I am a 27 year old man, who works as a Systems Operator at a nuclear plant in Alabama, I have been single for several years, mostly due to my service in the Navy. I did not feel comfortable dating anyone while I was gone for months at a time at sea. I left the Navy in 2006, and since then, I've been trying to meet the right woman for me. It's hard getting back into the dating scene after so long, especially after moving to a new state where I don't know anyone except the people I work with. I've had some bad experiences with girls I've dated in the past, which has left me somewhat guarded with my emotions, and it takes me a while to warm up to people, and let someone in. I think the right woman for me would have to be understanding of that, and be patient with me as I open myself up to her. I just don't want to be with anyone who will play games with me and toy with my emotions. I've had enough of that in past relationships. I just want to find someone who will be happy with me just the way I am, and really enjoy being with me. I know it's cliche, but I just want someone who will love me for me, for who I am, and accept everything about me.
