I am looking for someone who might be interested in going out for some fun sometime in the near future. Does not have to lead to anything but a nice evening, but if the chemistry is there..

I am 5’8 with Hazel eyes. I am a professional with a long term job/career in the IT field. I have stable income and know what I want in life. I look Hispanic but I am mixed black/white from a small caribbean island (St. Lucia). Even though I am no Adonis.. I am by no means lazy or inactive, I work out on a regular basis and love outdoor activities. I do have a fair amount of tattoos and I know that that is a turn off for some. I am very well spoken and educated but raised in the streets of Miami/LA so I do have a street vibe about me. So if the urban "Bad Boy" look and the fact that I am a little rough around the edges isn't your thing and you are into the more preppy type, I probably would not be your thing.

Well now that I have sort of explained myself physically here is a bit that I feel needs to be said upfront. I have a 6 year old son who lives with his mother (my ex-wife) in Miami. The split was a mutual thing so we are on speaking terms for my sons sake and there is no “baby mama drama”.

I listen to all types of music but my playlists would normally consist of current R&B, old school and new Hip-Hop, dancehall, reggae, and a little inspirational and alternative thrown in for good measure. Only music I do not get into is country music.

Since that is out in the air let me say I am not looking to rush into a relationship but that is the commitment level I am looking forward to obtaining. I am a one woman man and I really believe in being friends first and making sure that develops. I am a quiet and reserved type of guy. I am an affectionate and caring gentleman that still believes in showing attention, treating women with class, and doing little things like opening doors and being mindful of needs.

What would I want to do on a first date?? With being able to plan properly I would like to find something of interest to us both that we rarely get to do or have not had the opportunity to do.. Such as checking out an art gallery or social event or some outdoor activity. This way we both could always fall back to discussing the venue if there are any slowdowns in our conversations.
