I'm a former NYer and a proud Los Angelino. I love this city...except engine idling and the occasional loss of balance. :)

I enjoy what city life offers, as well as cooking (foodie), entertaining friends, restaurants (from dives on up), good conversation, listening to music, concerts, hiking, swimming, traveling, books, current events (remember those assignments in History?), biking, sports, both doing and watching, film and much more...

I'm not into boating but I love to swim; not into loud parties or restaurants but I love intimate gatherings; not into religion but I'm spiritual and I'm not into physics but I love getting physical ;)

What am I looking for:
He has a MIGHTY sense of humor
He has smile lines on his face
He has a soft spot for Italian women
He knows who the Secretary of State is and the Speaker of the House (hint: not your ex wife)
He appreciates the wisdom and "skills" of a woman over 50.

Shallow side of me wants:
No yellow or green teeth, and straight would be nice.
Combed hair
Clothes that fit
No holes in shoes (a hole that's just started is ok) but if something flaps, that's not good
No pocket protectors (I'm flexible here) :)

Have I been on here too long?

My first date. Not sure if this includes meeting or after meeting, so I'll describe both.

I prefer meeting for coffee or a drink.

My first date would probably be a restaurant and a long walk afterwards.

My second date would be a museum, music or a play.

My third date would be...Ah, that depends on how well the 1st and 2nd date were ;)
