I'm at a point in my life where all things are changing....I just graduated from UTD, trying to find a job, looking for a place to live, and trying to find a man...I use to think I knew what I wanted...but I'm starting to figure out that I have no idea. Only thing I can do is figure it out as I go. I love to travel and am thinking about moving over seas somewhere for a couple of months. It's time for me to grow up and figure my life out.

I'm looking for my prince charming that can sweep me off my feet and be my Knight in shining armor...Cheesy I know ;) But I know he's out there some where! I'm looking for my best friend that is looking for someone to be my partner in crime. I need a guy that can be goofy and cheesy with me that can take me out and we can have a great time doing whatever... Concerts, Camping, Movies, Dinner, Bowling, Rollerskating, Bar Hopping, Dancing (Country, Salsa, House/Techno)... What ever it is I always have a great time where ever I go. Im kinda old school I guess when it comes to dating...I expect the guy to open the door for me and be a gentlemen...A flower wouldn't hurt either =)

Last semester in my Marriage and Family Psych class we were discussing different types of people in relationships and how they work together and why they work.
There are 4 main types of people we were talking about:
1)The Purser: someone that likes to seek togetherness when they are stressed. Likes to talk about problems so they can be fixed.
2)The Distancer: needs emotional space when they are stressed.
3)Overfunctioner: tends to take charge when in a stressful situation.
4)Underfunctioner: tends to become less competent when under stress.

I feel like I would probably fit into the pursuer/underfunctioner category. So that means that I need to find a partner that is a pursuer/overfunctioner. I've been with distancers and it drives me crazy when there is a problem and they just shut you out. I want someone that is able to talk about the situation so we can fix it. I also need someone that can handle situations when crisis may occur. I want a guy that can "take care of business" if you know what I mean.

I'm not usually big into reading, but lately I've been reading a book on philosophy and it is quite interesting. Movie wise I like comedies and movies that give you that "ah ha moment"

Music- I listen to pretty much anything...rock, country, techno, reggae...I really don't listen to much heavy metal or classical. Lately, I've been listening to Kings of Leon and other groovy type tunes.

I love all types of food! Including, but not limited to: Mexican, Italian, German, Thai, and Japanese....mmm sushi=)

In my free time I enjoy going out with friends to the bars/clubs, comedy shows, movies, concerts/live local bands, and camping ect... But I also like to stay at home and snuggle up on the couch with my significant other and watch a movie.

I do like sports (hockey is my favorite!) but you prolly won't find me sitting in front of the tube watching baseball or golf...unless im looking for a good napping show. I like to actually go to sporting events.

I love my friends! You have more than likely come across some of them on this site and might even be talking to one now......Oh what a small world wide web.

Lately I've been receiving a lot of emails from guys with children...I love kids and want kids some day....but I don't want any baby mama drama.

Anywhere but a coffee shop where the chick next to us knows that we are just meeting and she is listening to every word we say =)...Little do you know she might be my friend. LOL
