My name is Mark, and I am awesome. I am a huge nerd.. and when I say huge nerd i mean both, I have a lot of nerdyness in me, and the fact that I'm a large mastodon of a man. I like lot of things that many people probably don't, like sci-fi,reading, school, comic books, and the Ren Faire. Music is a passion of mine and at one point was my soul profession. I am a classically trained percussionist, and have been playing for about 18 years now (dammit I feel old saying that. I've been playing the drum set for just as long and have been in every type of band from bluegrass to death metal. If you get to know me I am sure I will end up telling you countless boring stories of me and my old industrial metal band, and how we were the best thing ever. Another passion of mine is history. I love to read and continually learn about past times. American history, European history.. I love it all. I do enjoy the Ren Faire, and an active member of a few reenactment groups. Lastly, what I do for a living. (because I know you girls don't like guys without jobs) I am a chef as well as currently still a student of the culinary arts. I've been a chef for 7 years but just recently decided to actually go back to school and get a formal education in the field. So ladies if you like food.. I'm your guy.. and if your a vegetarian, then I feel sad for you.

A first date I would take you some place romantic.. like a strip club, or an orphanage. Then we would have a nice picnic lunch on the beach, I am a chef so we don't have to worry about bringing any food, I can just prepare something we find in the sand. A salad of needles, broken glass and old condoms perhaps?

Ok.. so if you can get past my stupid sense of humor, we will be ok. First dates should be somewhere we can get to know one another. Diner, and then like, a walk, or just hang out somewhere. I am always down to just chill on the couch and talk, or watch TV or something.
