I am one of those introverted, deep thinking types that loves to discuss theology and world issues. I have a strong work ethic and am very entrepeneurial; I have a financial planning background and am currently trying to start a city project management company with two other partners. In the meantime, I write financial educational articles for several different websites. In my spare time, I enjoy watching basketball (Rock Chalk Jayhawk - 2008 Champs, baby!), cooking, reading and watching movies. And when I get bored, I occasionally moonlight some as a Chippendale, perform freelance contract assassinations for the Mafia, and come off the bench for the Lakers. (There are those who would say I'm a great BS'er as well.) In the past, I have wrestled mightily with God, just as Jacob did. But I am much more able now to see His plan for my life, and have found my peace with Him. My criteria for a partner are pretty straightforward. First and foremost, she must love God, and respect me, herself and others. She can't be critical or controlling, because I won't put up with it. And of course there must be chemistry and physical attraction. Basically, I just want someone who will understand and complement me and let me be myself and be the leader in the relationship. But she must be willing to hold me accountable as well, even when I don't want to hear it. In return, I will cherish her and her feelings and love her in word and deed with all my heart.

I have no particular preference as to place or activity; it would depend largely on the gal I'm with and what she likes to do. Movies, restaurants, museums, galleries, theater, KU basketball games, coffee shops, rodeos, mud wrestling, a buffalo stampede, you name it. I'm pretty much open, but whatever it is, it would have to be a fun, safe, comfortable environment for both of us, so that we could get to know each other.
