About Me
I work in retail as a manager, in upwards of 50 hours a week most week. While I don't want to be in retail the rest of my life, it's where I need to be for now, and I want to do the best I can at it while I'm there. Currently working on getting promoted. While I enjoy my job (most days) it doesn't leave me with the largest amount of time in the world to go out and meet people. Mix that with the fact that I'm not a frequenter of bars... and here I am.
I'm looking for that someone special who can honestly be my friend. That person I can goof around with, laugh and have fun. Watch movies or go on an adventure. At one point or another we've all been with that person who you have to "be on your best behavior" around. That person who it honestly feels more like a chore to go out with them then it dose fun. Not what I'm after.
I love movies. Anything by Kevin Smith, "Clerks" especially. "Empire Records". "Fight Club". Then you also get the random movies like "Never Ending Story" "A Walk to Remember" and "Sleepy Hollow" thrown in there. Tv wise... Star Trek (Voyager being my favorite), Supernatural, Lost, Friends, That 70's Show and Bones. Music... rock. Everything from Skillet to Metallica to Disturbed to Dream Theater to Pillar. Though out of all these forms of entertainment... pro wrestling is at the top. I've been a huge pro wrestling fan since the day I was born (I was watching wrestling before I could walk.) Every guy has his little sports obsession.. I don't watch football, baseball, ect... for me, it's Pro Wrestling.
I also do a nice bit of reading. Everything from The Left Behind Series and the Harry Potter Books to the Celestine Prophesies to random text books (history, psychology, ect. ) I have a book on Robert Frost around here somewhere....
As far as fitness goes. I'm a little overweight. I bring that up not because I'm self conscious, but because it is the current goal ever present on my mind (when I'm not at work.) I'm trying to get better about staying active, trying to run every morning, roller blade when I get bored instead of putting in a movie, ect.
Another thing.. as long as you can keep me talking there's never a dull moment. I can go from talking about religion and politics to killer zombies and back without missing a beat. When I get bored I read up on (literally) everything. Mix that with random life experience, like the time I worked with a vampire, and I've always got something to say.
