I am creative, practical, intelligent, articulate, insightful, humorous to the extreme at times, hansom, friendly, lovable, generous, dependable, reasonable, strong, sensual, and occasionally passionate. I like people, plants, animals, some insects. I like the ocean, mountains, wooded areas, big cities, small towns. I like the East Coast, Southern California, Kentucky, Trinidad & Tobago, Prague, Sun City in South Africa, and Venezuela. I like to paint Oil Paintings, I like to write essays and poems. I like to drive. I like to ride my mountain bike in certain places. I like to lay in the water at the beach or in a pool. I like saunas, or rather how I feel after I come out of them. I like to go to the movies. I like to go to restaurants. I like to meditate, and practice some hatha yoga postures.

I dislike hostile or quick tempered people. I dislike deceitful people. I dislike con artist. I dislike manipulative people. I dislike people who seek to exploit other people. Actually it's not the people as much as it is the behavior.

Here's a poem that I wrote a long time ago.
Of Love
In the Course of this life I've had the great love,
the eternal kind that poets speak of.
And after that time had come to an end;
I've had the great fortune to find it again.
I've learned that these feelings can be had for more than one;
although at the moment I have them for none.
Or better, I should say, I have none which I share.
Fore, as I look in my heart I find the love is still there.
For each time this heart has opened before;
there are sparks burning behind a closed door.
I need only to open a door and step in;
to experience the love of an old dear friend.
When I experience such feelings from deep within,
it leads to the desire to share them again.
But there are reasons those feelings are kept behind doors.
Each door is a lesson that I have gone through before.
Each door has reminders, so that I dare not repeat,
the course of each action which led to retreat.
Each love was unique, in its own special way.
And to try to compare them is like night is to day.
It has been my life's lesson to learn about love.
Whatever its fashion it comes from above.
And I know when I've found it;
And I know when its true;
When I love all existence for supporting you.

On a first date I would like to get to know as much about my date as I can. So I am going to listen to her. I am going to see if there is that certain personal chemistry. I am going to see how she relates to me and the other people that we come into contact with. The best place to do this is in a quiet restaurant setting over dinner, or lunch. I prefer Indian restaurants, but I am willing to go to my dates preference.
