I guess, ideally, I'm looking for someone who is balanced. A woman who takes care of herself but isn't shallow, intelligent but not condescending, strong but considerate, ambitious but not obsessive.

It would be great to meet someone who I have enough in common with that we can relate to each other, but I also would embrace our differences. Some people allow their differences to divide them, but the opportunity to learn from and grow with someone with different experiences, tastes and perspectives could be a refreshing change of pace.

A first "date" can sometimes feel more like a job interview then a first date. I think a good option is to meet for a few drinks, talk, get to know each other. I would hope that it would be time well spent and if there's a connection there we can go on a real first date. What would that be like? I have a few ideas but I'm not going to tell you yet. I don't want to ruin the surprise! :)
