What can I say? I am just a happy go lucky guy in search of fun and excitement. I love to be passionate and express my feelings. I am in love with life and what it has to offer. I do everything in my power to enjoy every living moment in a healthy way. I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. Nothing can stop me. Nothing can hold me back. The world is in my hands.

By the way, I love to write. Therefore, I'll be writing blogs as time goes on. I'll be doing it with the purpose so you can know more about me.

Behind the Scenes Interview Vol. 1 (8-17-2008)

I= Interviewer SK= Shining Knight

I: Welcome Shining Knight. So how are you today?

SK: I'm doing alright. Doing my thing as usual. You know, enjoying life to the fullest.

I: Nice.

Well, let's get down to business.

SK: Sure.

I: What brings you to plentyoffish.com?

SK: I'm only interested in dating for the moment.

I: Well that's previous obvious. But what are your motives?

Marriage?

Friendship?

One night stands?

SK: None of the above. Whatever happens, happens. Let me explain further.

For the first 20 years of my life I took life a little too serious. Therefore, I was extremely goal-oriented. Now don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with having goals in life, it's just that I overly focused on the materialistic ones. In the end, I became bitter and realized that I missed out on a lot of things, such as friendship, dating, and relationships.

And the rest is history.

I: Wow! It sounds like you have been through quite a ride.

So now explain what you mean on "Whatever happens, happens."

SK: (Laughs)

It's my mantra. The old me would've been very calculating and go go go. The new me is let's give things a shot and see what happens.

So therefore, even though I'm not actively looking for marriage. It doesn't mean that my heart, soul, and mind are closed to the idea if the opportunity comes up. The same thing can be said about friendship and sex.

In the end, once I date someone it will be determined what's best for both parties. So if we are more compatible as friends then let's go there. If we are potential soulmates then let's go there. And if the opportunity for sex comes up then you can imagine the rest.

I: (Laughs)

SK: I mean, come on. I'll be lying to you if I tell you that I'm a damn saint and that I'll pass on the opportunity for intimate physicality. Let's be honest, guys are always going to be guys. I am not that different myself. The only difference is that I'm not desperate and constantly thinking about sex like most of my fellow members of the male species. There's more to life than just getting laid.

I: Good point.

SK: But as I was saying, I cannot determine where things will go by just reading a profile and bullshitting around. That is why I feel that nothing beats a face to face encounter so I could look into a person's eyes and determine what they are all about. The eyes tell you a lot. It's hard to explain.

All I look for is upfrontness (I think that's a word) and sincerity. What I mainly look for is chemistry. Based on how much chemistry we have then we'll decide where to take it from there. Quite frankly anything can happen. As it's commonly said, "You never know until you try."
