Hello...thanks for checking me out. I am a down to earth, drama free guy with a very strong creative side. I am a Professional Musician (guitarist) and have been playing music for the past 32 years. I'm also a Songwriter, Writer, Painter and Furniture Designer/Builder. Needless to say I am hard wired to create and always have been like that--to me there are always new possibilities to explore in your life, and I have learned to run with these possibilities when they have come along. My furniture, much like music and guitar playing, was purely a chance discovery that I dived into with both feet.
I have a great sense of humor and great sense of purpose--I work very hard to achieve the things I want in life but also want to have a hell of a lot of fun in the process. I think you have to be able to laugh at what life will surprise us with here and there. I tend to look at my own life as a sitcom most of the time (which actually helps my writing a lot) but I think looking at life in that way helps to keep me grounded, humble--and probably young. I tend to find humor in just about everything--I grew up on the Marx Bros, Mel Brooks, SNL, Second City, Monty Python, Fawlty Towers and Seinfeld. I enjoy making people laugh and probably would have gone into some sort of comedy thing (either writing or standup--probably both) if music hadn't come along. The 'It is the journey, not the destination' idea rings true with me--life is afterall supposed to be an adventure, at least as far as I am concerned. I enjoy getting outside...biking, walking, etc...I also workout 5 days a week. I love movies (esp comedies), dining out, seeing a good band or just hanging out at home watching TV. California is so overloaded with things to do it would be tough to be bored here unless you really tried to be that way...I'm not. I am a 100% Italian from NY (Long Island) and have lived out here for about 20 years...there has never been a dull moment for me.
I love all kinds of music...from Classical to Jazz to Rock and Blues. Some of my favorites include Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Queen, Cream, Bad Co., Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, BB King, Gary Moore, SRV, Johnny Winter, Albert Collins, George Gershwin, Leonard Bernstein, Copeland, Glenn Miller, Miles Davis, Louis Armstrong, Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Bach and many, many others. I have played mostly classic rock and blues covers over the years but am finally getting into writing and recording my own material--more or less heavy blues or bluesy rock I'd guess you say. I am heavily influenced by guys like Eric Johnson, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Randy Rhoads, Eddie Van Halen, Gary Moore, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton. Afterall...if you're gonna aim, aim high. On a very serious note, if you can please help any one of the many Greyhound Rescue organizations in the area...Greyhound Pets of America, Hemopet, Calgap, etc...these people have saved thousands of Greyhounds over the years and have been very successful in making the transition from the Race track to the Living room possible for these wonderful animals.
