I'm so new to this. My best friend has encouraged me to try this, sooooo, here goes.
I like to describe myself as a country girl, but I clean up well.('') I enjoy life and right now, I'm taking it one day at a time. I think I'm fun but I have a serious side, when needed. I'm a social person, so I like interaction and debating the issues of the day. Or just listening to jokes and small talk. I love to laugh, though. I think having a sense of humor is so important to your health. I also love to travel. I love to dance, going to the horse races, fishing, the water, food... any food, movies, music...all types, and very often, I'm singing along. I LIKE camping. I won't say love because it's alot of work! (if you like some creature comforts, that is) And of course, I love my family. I come from a large family, and they are an important part of my life. At least they are right now, since I'm single again.

I'm looking for a man who is strong, but not so strong that he dominates. I enjoy a battle of wills, sometimes. Someone who's confident, but not too overly conceited. A man that can adapt to any given situation. (things happen in large families) A romantic, but with a fun side. He needs to have a sense of humor.
A man that is my equal NOT my superior.
I guess I'm just trying to find someone to grow old with. Someone who can enjoy our family, friends and future grandchildren with me. Just enjoy LIFE! Let's enjoy life, while we still can.

I believe a first date should be something simple. There needs to be time to talk and just see if there are any sparks. Maybe just meet up at a quiet place for dinner or drinks. Someplace that doesn't want to hurry you right out. And then see if we'd like to meet again. Maybe kick it up a notch!
