Okay, this is my second time trying this site. I am have been divorced for a few years now and have basically enjoyed the divorced life. I am at a point in my life though where I would like to have someone to spend it with.

I am very outgoing but at the same time can be shy around people that I am attracted to. I love reading and do not watch much television or movies. I just don't have too much free time to spend watching them. I love the outdoors and nature. I am very good with children, both mine and others. My children live with their mother in North Carolina and I do not get to see them as much as I would like.

I am an environmental project technician working as a contractor at ConocoPhillips in Westlake, LA. I flag, tag, and map all of the valves, connectors, and seams where there could be leaks. I work long hours, but I am willing to devote plenty of free time to any relationship that I may get into.

I would love to meet a woman that is intelligent, funny, and down to earth. If you are abnormal in anyway, then that is a plus, although if you are completely normal that is okay. Life is too short to allow room for boredom. I like to laugh, have fun, and enjoy life. If you read all the way through this essay, you should contact me. A first date should be spontaneous. If we talk on the phone and decide to take the next step toward a blind date then maybe we could meet somewhere public and quiet to talk some in person before we went on a real date.
