Hi, I'm Mike. I'm a bit random at times, but most of the time I am upbeat. I get bored sitting around doing nothing. I like to be active most of the time. I spend my days riding around on the back of a garbage truck. My job sucks, but it beats unemployment and it is not my future. The perks of my job are hard to think of, but there are some... maybe... Either way, it covers my bills and leaves me money left over each month, which pays for car repairs and will help fund me going back to college. I start at KSU in the spring as a business major. I'm not completely sure if that will remain my major. I may switch to finance.

The main things I want out of life, in no particular order, are a job I enjoy, a family I love and communicate well with, and to only be married once. lol. I wouldn't complain about adding a small fortune to that list, but it's not mandatory. I value happiness over monetary things, but I also understand that money makes the world go round. I tend to be a bit cheap at times, but it's in a practical way. For example, a punching bag costs between $60 and $100 and is meant to be stored indoors. I have no decent place in my house to hang a punching bag, so I needed one that I could put outdoors. I live back in the woods a bit and squirrels would eat one if I purchased it. I got creative and made my own squirrel proof punching bag out of a metal drum, dirt, and $25 worth of steel cable I would have had to purchase either way. Wear gloves or wrap the barrel in some cloth and you have a punching bag that works well enough.

Some of the things I enjoy doing are hiking, playing frisbee with my friends (even though I'm kinda lousy at it), and having fun.

First dates all depend upon shared interests. Anything that's not your typical dinner and a movie is good. Something that let's me get to know the other person in a relaxed setting. Concerts, pool halls, bowling, a walk in the park or on the beach. All of those are pretty good ways to get to know a person and have some fun!
