Hey i'm Mike, i'm here in Guelph taking Biology. I hate filling out these things, I don't think I ever come across as very interesting in text, and it inevitably ends up looking like a resume. But then again some first dates feel like job interviews anyways lol.
I'm originally from Ottawa (Go Sens!) but i'v been living here on my own for 4 or 5 years now. I'm going to school part-time and working 2 night shifts a week. I love staying up late, or all night, thats why I still work nights. I used to be big into the party scene, but i'm pretty much over that, most of the time i'd rather just hang out with a few friends rather then go to a huge kegger. I haven't been going downtown much at all this year, but when I do I prefer Pubs rather than clubs, somewhere where you can talk without shouting. Do I do drugs? Thats a funny question, I take advil/tylenol sometimes, when i'm sick my doctor gives me drugs,....oh ya I also smoke dope from time to time, and i'm a completely hopeless coffee junkie.
When i'm done school I eventually want to make it out west...even though the job market has kinda crashed over there. I love snowboarding and want to experience a real mountain. I can't stand the overpriced sliding hills they have in Ontario, the only thing I miss about Ottawa is being able to drive 45 mins into Quebec and have a dozen hills to choose from (that and the cheap beer and poutine in Quebec).
I'm a huge fan of animals, dogs/cats/rodents/ferrets....except horses and cows, never trusted them with their shifty eyes. When I was younger I worked and volunteered at a vet clinic, and worked a couple of summers at a small zoo, which was damn cool (but shitty pay, otherwise i'd still be working there :P).
I'm growing a beard right now, mostly cause I can lol. I'd never tried before, and I got sick of shaving every day. I dunno how long i'll have it or how huge i'll let it get, it's probably just for the winter tho. I don't have any piercings or tats, not cause I don't like them, mostly cause I haven't thought of anything that I want permanently etched onto my skin. Although 90% of chicks on here say they like dudes with tats...so I'm sure i'll give into peer pressure eventually, it's more of a money/desire issue right now.
