Well, it was yet another of those overseas lottery spam emails, if I add them all up so far I've won a total of several hundred million $$ or roughly thereabouts. But don't worry, I haven't let all my good fortune go to my head - I'm still the same old easy-going, sensible, approachable, likable guy I've always been - LOL (BTW - if that heading is what grabbed your attention, don't bother -

It is so hard to get a true sense of a person's personality from just words and pictures. There's alot more to me than what I could ever put here. I'm probably a hard person to describe, because I have alot of different interests. I find just about everything in life fascinating. So live it and enjoy it. I'm pretty flexible on most things, and I believe that in all things you need to find a balance. A lot of the time, you'll find me outdoors involved in some activity or another. Basketball, softball, golf, mountain biking, camping, hiking. I'm not much of a couch potato, but I do enjoy my kick back and chill out times - watching movies, BBQ on the patio, etc. You can stay young at heart no matter what your age. My friends would describe me as intelligent, energetic, dependable, honest, with a great sense of humor (Really? Wow!). At least, I think they would....(*wink*) but then again, they might say the opposite just to be ornery -:) (Well, if they do, they owe me my money back - LOL)

I've traveled quite a bit (backpacked thru Europe, spent a couple months in India on work), but I'm truly a down-to-earth country boy at heart. I was raised on a farm and still love to spend time out there. I'm looking for someone who loves to laugh, who's family & friends are important to them, and stays somewhat physically active and in shape. And above all - a good heart. I do need to feel a certain level of physical attraction with somebody. But that is only the beginning..... I would like someone that's somewhat athletic, and takes care of their body. You don't have to do everything I do, but it would be nice to share some of my activities. A GREAT sense of humor is a MUST! And, above all - a good heart.

I'm often told I look young for my age, but unlike many on here (apparently), I'm not going to lie about my age - it's not my way to mislead anyone. Why? You'd eventually find out anyway. So here's my proposition for those of you that don't like to waste time with uncomfortable meetings (who does? :): Pick a public place, say a bench at a mall. I'll be there at a certain time, tell you what I'm wearing, reading a paper. You can blend in with the crowd, and if I'm not what you expected or want, pass on by, no hard feelings. I'm NOT**** or stuck on myself - I'm just saying no need to waste anyone's time. Let's face it - we've all passed up people on here who matched our likes/dislikes/wants nearly identically, because most of us also are looking for someone we have at least some level of physical attraction with. That doesn't mean you have to be Barbie, I'm not claiming to be Ken. What have you got to lose? You were going shopping there that day anyway, right? LOL. Besides, if nothing else, a friend is always a good thing to have.

I don't know what magic words to put together to capture someones attention on here, or turn heads or convince anyone. All I can do is speak from my heart, regardless of how it sounds. I'm not a player, I'm a decent, honest, caring, hardworking, good-hearted person. That doesn't mean I'm a spineless pushover. For some reason or another, fate has just not crossed my path with the one yet. It's not for me to question God's plans, (even though I do at times). I have been overly blessed in so many other ways with friends, family, career - I'm just missing that one thing that would complete my life - my family. Family & friends are what it's all about. I love kids and have no problem dating someone with kids.

So there's enough here to tell you a little about me, some of my likes/dislikes, but I don't think you can truly describe a personality, a heart, how someone views life in so many words. You have to get to know the person. I'm looking for my best friend: the one I share the little things in life with, as well as the big ones. Because sometimes those ARE the most important things.

I've described above a first meeting for someone that is hesitant - so if you decide to say hi, for a first date, it will be pretty casual. Probably grab a bite to eat somewhere, so we can sit and talk. Or walk somewhere. Maybe miniature golf or something, but not a movie. This is our first meeting, so I just want us to get to know each other and see if there is chemistry and we hit it off. I'm told I'm an easy person to get to know, so even though it may not be anything extraordinary, it will be fun. Regardless of what we do, if we hit it off as well as I hope we do, it WILL be extraordinary....
